Dressed in creative outfits of colourful tops, frilly skirts and hot pants, around 30 members of the Line Dance Section attended the Line Dance Mini Jam Event held on Friday 18th October 2019. The event kicked off with a welcoming speech by the newly-elected Chairperson Grace Gan Saw Ai and the introduction of Secretary Mrs. Oh, Treasurer Cheah Beng Gnoh followed by four Committee Members – Vivien Loh Lay Eng, Janice Tan Cheng Lian, Evelyn Lim Wah Lay and Datin Tan Lean Tee.
The 20 Line Dance numbers began with 10 numbers for beginners such as Hakka Liang Moi and Man Chang Fei. The second half of the 20 Line Dance Numbers were meant for advanced line dancers but it did not halt the members from swirling, twirling and shuffling to the lively tunes of waltz, cha cha cha and Latin music such as Senorita La La La and Shot Of Tequila. After the amazing dance session, members were given refreshments prepared in lunch boxes. Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie of the Line Dance Mini Jam.
