Aqua Yoga is a fun and often more gentle form of yoga that many bodies can enjoy. In the water, joints are supported allowing free movement while also acting as resistance to help strengthen muscles. Yoga in the water challenges balance and illuminates the quality of breath.
On the 22nd of September 2019, the Yoga section conducted an Aqua Yoga event at CRC’s swimming pool. As this was the first Aqua Yoga event held, the Yoga section received a great number of participation from the Club’s members. On the day of the event, 58 participants who were eager in experiencing the soothing and relaxing effect of Aqua Yoga had a joyous time working out together in the pool.
