CRC celebrated its annual ‘Chang’ Festival on 15th June 2018 which fell on the 2nd of the 5th month of the Lunar Calendar. This year, the Club is honoured to have our Trustees of Victoria Green – Mr.Tan Kok Chye, Mr.Khoo Boo Yeang, Mr.Yeoh Seng Hoe, and our new trustees of the Seh Tek Tong Cheah Kongsi, Mr.Cheah Swee Huat and Mr.Cheah Sin Choon, to celebrate this wonderful evening with us. The event opened with a warm welcome to all members followed by a bufet dinner. The night was also accompanied by beautiful music with the presence of a live band.
Members enjoyed the Treasure Hunt where participating members were required to hunt around the poolside for pictures of the ‘Chang’ ingredients in exchange for red packets. The ‘Chang’ Eating Competition also rocked the evening where participants had to gobble 3 pieces of alkaline ‘Chang’ without using any hands; inclusive of the opening of its wrappers. Their funny acts and the emcee’s sense of humor brought the crowd down with loads of laughter.
The evening ended with 10 lucky members who secured their lucky draws and each member were given a ‘Chang’ as a doorgift.
本会在2018年6月15日即农历五月初二举办端午节庆典。当晚，出席庆典的维多利亚草场信理员计有陈国财先生，邱武扬先生，杨成和先生，世德堂谢公司代表，谢瑞发先生和谢承春先生。庆典以欢迎词来掀开序幕，后会员们享受自助餐。现场乐队呈现优美旋律。
会员们参与了寻宝游戏，他们在泳池旁寻找对的粽子食材照片以换取一封红包。吃粽子比赛也在当晚举行，参赛者须在不用双手的情况下以最快的速度将三粒碱水粽吃完，这也包括摊开粽子的叶子。游戏进行时，许多会员围绕在旁观赏，加上主持人的幽默感，令场面非常热闹起来。
庆典结束时，有10位幸运者获得了幸运抽奖，而每位前来参与庆典的成员都获得了一粒粽子作为礼品。
